The Origin of Success - Part 3: How Culture Shapes Our Perceptions

Hey everyone, today I'm excited to release another NEW video - which is intended to wrap up this video series.  In the future, I may directly revisit this topic, but this video tries to wrap up the underlying themes and put a bow on top. In this case, we're going to do that by taking a look at culture and its influences on success and performance. Also, in addition to this video, I have been persistently working on a product launch in the background - which is shaping up to be super awesome. So, keep your eyes posted on more information regarding that; it should be dropping soon, which is very exciting!!!

Lesson Description:
In previous videos throughout this series, we have learned how success is usually misconstrued as a quality inherent at birth. People falsely believe that success is predetermined - a fate forged from the beginning. However, all research and success stories defy this misconception; they indicate that success is always earned through diligence and consistent effort. It is never handed to us on a silver platter with no effort; we must all earn it through our own volition. In this sense, it is clear that no one is cut from a different cloth; however, through persistence and dedication, we may all weave ourselves into a beautiful tapestry - an outlier who stands out in the crowd. To further explore this theme, this video takes a look at culture and examines how it influences our success. Sometimes, cultures may shape our perceptions and offer tools which are more conducive towards success. However, the underlying themes fueling this series again take precedence: opportunities and advantages may certainly aid an individual in attaining success, but an opportunity lacking the fuel of diligence and consistent effort always falters. So, as you navigate through your own personal journeys, realize that the cards you were dealt hardly ever dictate your future; rather, your destiny is ultimately a function of HOW you play those cards. Your life is never tied to one sole fate - either predetermined success or failure; your current actions are always writing that outcome, and, thus, it's always possible to form a more desirable ending.
